Your captioning software

Kitty is wondering what programs you use to make captions where the text is beside the pic, so longer caps can be made? I am too, but my computer is too old for paint. I need a simple program that isn't too complicated and time consuming to use!

  1. I use the paint program that comes with windows. When you open up windows explorer just right click on the picture, choose edit and click. That will open the picture in paint. Then you can re size the picture. On the re-size you can do it by percentage or pixel. I choose pixel and set the bottom number at 550. Once I have it re-size I click on the drop down arrow under select and click on select all. I copy the picture and save. Then I open a new file and paste the picture. You are now ready for the text which is the big "A". Once you are in text mode you can make text boxes by dragging your cursor. You now ready to type and you can change the color by choosing the one you want or make a custom color.
